dc.description.abstract This paper endeavours to throw some light on the myths that surround decisionmaking and organisation structure, especially those that assume hierarchical processes as the only means compatible with efficiency and efficacy, as well as offer an analysis of some strategies of non-hierarchical functioning. This is attempted at, through the experiences of a women's collective(2) in organisational practice over more than a decade of working towards social change, particularly with reference to the women's position.
