dc.description.abstract Reduction of nitric oxide by carbon monoxide has been studied over Ruthenium supported on alumina and silica. Activity, kinetics and surface area are compared between these two supported Ru catalysts. The rate controlling step in this reaction is presumably the active site reduction process.
