dc.description.abstract A systematic survey to record the periodical variation in the percent incidence and the extent of injury caused by Jassid - a popular hemipteran pest was done for two consecutive years in 68 mulberry plots spread over in Tumkur district of Karnataka. The data was collected at monthly interval. Both the parameters were maximum in summer season and minimum in winter months. Both Percent Pest Incidence (PPI) and Percent injury (Pi) had highly significant positive correlation with maximum temperature, while rainfall and relative humidity recorded a negative association. en_US
