dc.description.abstract The properties of metal tellurates change severely depending upon the presence of various factors like the type of metal ions introduced, their stoichiometry, particle size, defects, etc. For a deep understanding of the nature of compounds and to confirm their formations, various characterization techniques were employed. The study of thermal stability, decomposition of compounds and luminescent properties show variability with a change in the cobalt concentration. Change in cobalt concentrations is the responsible factor for variable electrical and magnetic properties. Dielectric properties with respect to frequency showed an increase in dielectric parameters with increasing dopant content. Introduction to property of photoluminescence has been found to show emission in the visible region. Their ability to exhibit various tuneable electronic, magnetic, thermal and optical properties makes these materials very useful candidates for future electronic technologies. en_US
