Mode of administration induced variations of economic traits in silkworm Bombyx mori.
Silkworm converts plant protein morin into animal protein silk, which has a great commercial value. In an attempt to improve the silk yield, sericulturists adopt various modes and methods of chemical administration. To understand the role of mode of administration in yield improvement, a comparative study was conducted. The result indicated that, oral feeding is better than any other routinely followed method.
