Comments on the paper: 'Studies on structural, thermal and optical properties of novel NLO crystal bis L-glutamine sodium nitrate'

Abstract

The title paper by Hanumantharao and Kalainathan [Materials Letters, 74, (2012), 74-77] reports on the crystal growth of a so called nonlinear optical (NLO) crystal bis l-glutamine sodium nitrate (1), and its luminescence, NLO studies. Many points of criticism, concerning the crystal growth and reported experimental data, are highlighted in this comment.
