dc.description.abstract Large percentage of women are found to be working in the Primary Sector. The purpose of this paper is to know the percentage of women employed in the primary sector viz a viz of men. If women in the primary sector are employed in the farm sector or in the non-farm sector, if within the farm sector they are employed as agricultural labourers or as cultivators and, if the percentage of women working as marginal workers in this sector is greater than that of men. en_US
