dc.description.abstract There are a good number of libraries in the country which collect and organize huge amount of literature on theology and allied subjects. These theological libraries are mostly attached to educational institutes of different religions like Seminaries for Christians, Madarasas for Muslims, Vedapathashalas for Hindus and so on. The paper exposes the untapped potential of some such libraries in the state of Goa and coastal Karnataka. The theological libraries remain outside the main-stream of information dissemination process and the huge amount of information available in them remains untapped. Hence the paper suggests a model by which the rich content in these libraries can be tapped. en_US
