dc.description.abstract	During our studies of freshwater fungi from Thailand, a new species Minimelanolocus nonramosus and a new collection of Thysanorea papuana were identified using morphological characters and phylogenetic analyses based on LSU, SSU, and ITS genes. After re-examination of herbarium material, Thysanorea aquatica is synonymized with Th. papuana. The description of the new species is provided with notes. This study increases our understanding of the freshwater hyphomycetes in Eurotiomycetes.	en_US
