Abstract:
The problem of a quantum particle in a gaussian homogeneous, random potential is shown to admit a stochastic symmetry group and its unitary representations are found. It is pointed out that the theory of group representation plays a role in the theory of amorphous solids analogous to its role in the thwory of crystals.
