Abstract:
Libraries are the social institutions which are affected heavily by the impact of technology. The technology continues to change day by day. It is becoming very difficult for a library professional to be keep updated with everything that is happening around him/her and in his/her profession. The present scenario warrants the librarians to have the minimum skill sets to be relevant in the profession. The author briefly describes these skill sets.
