Abstract:
Practices of green human resource management help organizations and employees meet the fundamental needs of sustainability for social justice, health, and well-being in addition to achieving economic stability and ecological balance. Green human resource management is the integration of environmental consciousness throughout the entire human resource management process, including the hiring of employees, the provision of training to employees, the rewarding of the employees' efforts, and the development of a green workforce that is aware of environmentally friendly morals, practices, and standards. The sustainability and effectiveness of an organization are greatly relying on the quality of its human resource management. Green HRM promotes proper guidelines, policies, standards, and practices that create a considerable effect in the improvement of sustainability in organizations. For organizations applying GHRM is a challenging task. This survey intends to make review green human resource management by reviewing the contributed 55 papers. Those papers were collected from the year 2013 to 2021. In this, the literature review analyses the diverse techniques regarding Green human resource management. Additionally, this paper provides a comprehensive study concerning the chronological review based on each publication. Also, the performed analysis in each research paper is manifested. As a final point, it extends the different research issues which can be helpful for the researchers to complete further research on practices of Green HRM.
